How To Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" icon on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon is located in the leading left corner and also resembles 2 small overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation containing the message or messages you intend to delete. If it is not provided on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out every one of your personal messages. Click the discussion on that checklist containing the message you intend to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and then click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes situated alongside the messages you intend to remove.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to validate that you intend to remove the selected messages.
Tip
To delete a whole discussion instead of private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions food selection in the third step.
Caution
Erasing an exclusive message in your Messages inbox does not remove it from the inbox of your conversation companion.
